Map view of St Anton

St Anton bustling village

St Anton am Arlberg is at the centre of the huge Arlberg Ski-Circus, and is firmly established as one of Europe's top ski resorts. The ski area is simply vast; covering not only St. Anton's own mountains, but also the neighbouring villages of St. Christoph, Zürs and Lech and offers some of Austria's most extensive and challenging skiing.

Mountain Info

High annual snowfall and extensive, varied terrain puts St. Anton head and shoulders above most other Austrian resorts. St Anton is one of Europe’s best ski areas for challenging ski terrain – both on and off the piste!

The main St Anton ski area consists of the interconnecting mountains of Gampen (and Kapall), Galzig and Valluga to the north, and Rendl to the south. The tougher skiing is found higher up the mountain on the slopes of Schindler and Valluga and there are endless off-piste skiing possibilities in St Anton that offer challenges up to expert level.

Ski holidays in St Anton are fantastic for non-skiers. This bustling village with its attractive pedestrian area is lined with sports shops, boutiques & cafés. For après ski the first port of call must be either the Krazy Kanguruh or Mooserwirt, located a short way up the piste from the main town of St Anton - so beware a short ski down to town is required when the bars on piste close at 8.00pm in the dark.

Skiers slaloming over powder

Down in St Anton town centre the Après Ski continues in various bars such as Scottie's & The Underground. For those still wishing to party on through to the early hours of the morning the Piccadilly Bar, Kandahar and Bar Cuba are for you.
